Small Groups

Where we live life in Christ together, where we obey Jesus' command to love each other the way that he loved us (John 13:34-35).

Our small groups are uncommon communities applying God's truth on a day-to-day basis. Loving one another, forgiving one another, serving one another submitting to one another, encouraging one another and belonging to one another.

Calvary Kids

Creating a learning atmosphere of fertile ground for the Gospel to be heard and understood

Philosophy of Ministry

Our philosophy is derived from Deuteronomy 6:4-9 as God declares that He is to be worshiped as the one true God and loved with one’s entire being. This command is followed by another – that parents are to teach their children to do the same.

Therefore, the children’s teachers at Calvary Community are to come alongside the parents to “tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the LORD, and His might, and the wonders that He has done” (Psalm 78:4) so that “they should set their hope in God…” (Psalm 78:7a). Calvary Kids is a supplement to the home but never intended to be a replacement.

Our Teachers

Before joining the Calvary Teachers Volunteer team, we require all applicants to be a member of Calvary Community. Then request they fill out an application with a thorough background check. We find out more about their talents by having the prospective teacher shadow a couple classes to see where their gifts can best be utilized. We are deeply blessed by our amazing volunteers and treat the safety and well-being of our kids with the utmost care and attention.
