At Calvary Community we believe the best way to implement the biblical vision of church leadership
is in a plurality of elders, or pastors led by the “first among equals” principle.
We intentionally put the apostolic priorities of “prayer and the ministry of the Word” (Acts 6:4) in
front of all other duties.
We are committed to the principle that spiritual leadership is influence arising from Spirit-filled
example rather than mere appointment to a position.
Elders
Victor Estrada
Along with Mariah and their four children, Victor has been part of Calvary for over six years. Victor enjoys nature, spending time with his family, and inventing or repairing machinery.
Ron Schmidt
Ron is married to Cheryl. They have been founding members of Calvary Community Church since it was established in Madison Nebraska as a Southern Baptist Church in 1981.
Aaron Alanis
Obeying the call that God gave them, Aaron, Pao and Ruth arrived in the Midwest from Mexico City in 2022 with the expectation of glorifying God by serving his church. Aaron serves as Calvary's pastor.
